HOW TO INSTALL EXCHANGE 2010 X64 ON WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2


So first do that on your server:

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
Windows Remote Management (WinRM) 2.0 CTP3
Windows PowerShell 2.0 CTP3
Update KB 951725
Update KB 950888
Update KB 951116
Update KB 952664
Update KB 953290
Update KB 958178

And install this components:

RSAT-ADDS
Web-Server
Web-Metabase
Web-Lgcy-Mgmt-Console
Web-ISAPI-Ext
Net-http-Activation
Web-Basic-Auth
Web-Digest-Auth
Web-Windows-Auth
Web-Dyn-Compression
RPC-over-HTTP-proxy
Web-net-ext
Net-Framework

Like that:

c:\user:administration>servermanagercmd -i RSAT-ADDS

c:\user:administration> servermanagercmd -i web-server web-isapi-ext web-metabase web-lgcy-mgmt-console web-basic-auth web-digest-auth web-windows-auth web-dyn-compression net-http-activation rpc-over-http-proxy

after to finished this process:

Access the folder uncompacted of your exchange and do that:
c:\software\E2010>setup.com /prepareschema
next command:
c:\software\E2010>setup.com /prepareAD /organizationname:<youcompany>
next command:
c:\software\E2010>setup.com /preparedomain

so, after this process, execute the setup of your exchange and selecte install microsoft exchange and set you custome options

Obs.: some times when the process to check the requiriments there is a error call :

“The start mode for the Net. TCP Port Sharing service must be set to Automatic before Setup can continue” about this message is required that you open your windows powershell and set this command:

Set-Service NetTcpPortSharing -StartupType Automatic

After this command retry the instalation setup again.
